Below is what to expect to ensure safety for our young, talented players. First the volunteer form then Anyone who will be on the field will need Live scan. All volunteers will need background checks and a visit to the Safety Training page, where there are resources for all Little League Required and California Mandated trainings for volunteers, including coaches.
What Is Live Scan?
Live Scan is a state-required fingerprinting process for anyone who will be on the field with players during the season.
All volunteers must complete and submit the required Live Scan forms in advance of attending an in-person fingerprinting appointment. Once the form is submitted, additional instructions and next steps will be provided.
