BALL Is More Than Baseball

It’s the moments between innings.

The conversations at the picnic table.

The friendships forming before players even step back onto the field.

At Berkeley Albany Little League, kids don’t just learn how to throw, hit, or catch — they grow. They build confidence, develop character, make lasting friendships, and have fun in a positive, supportive environment.

That’s the experience we work hard to create every season.

That’s the BALL way. 💚⚾

Welcome to a New BALL Season ⚾

A new season is just around the corner, and we’re getting excited for everything that comes with it — learning the game, building confidence, making friends, and having fun on the field.

Soon the fields will be full of energy again.

New players discovering baseball.

Returning players growing their skills.

Families and volunteers coming together as one community.

Thank you for being part of Berkeley Albany Little League. We’re looking forward to another season full of memories, teamwork, and smiles.

The season is almost here — let’s play BALL! 💚⚾

⚾ Coaches Make the Difference ⚾

Every great BALL season starts with dedicated volunteers stepping up to coach—and we’re incredibly grateful for the community members who make it all possible.

You don’t need to be a former pro or baseball expert. What matters most is caring about kids, teamwork, learning, and having fun. BALL provides support, training, and a positive environment to help coaches succeed.

Become a Berkeley Albany Little League Umpire – 2026 Season

Dear Berkeley Albany Little League Families and Friends,

As we prepare for the 2026 Little League season, we invite adults and youth to consider becoming a Little League Umpire.

No prior experience is required—free training is provided, and our updated Umpire webpage includes:

  • 2026 training schedules
  • Registration requirements
  • Rules, resources, and expectations

Umpires are often called “the third team” on the field. Without umpires, there are no games — and their role is essential to creating a safe, fair, and positive experience for our players.

Umpiring is a great way to:

  • Learn more about the game of baseball
  • Stay active and enjoy the outdoors
  • Support your community
  • Have the best seat in the house during games

It’s also a wonderful way for parents, young adults, siblings, and friends to be involved together in Little League.

Which Division Is Right for Your Player?

Choosing the right division is an important part of making baseball fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate for every player.

Berkeley Albany Little League offers divisions for players ages 5–14, designed to support growth at every stage—from first-time T-Ball players to full-field Juniors.

To help families feel confident during registration, we’ve created a one-page Division Overview & Field Dimensions guide that clearly explains:

  • Field sizes and rules
    • League Age Ranges
    • What to expect at each level
